Gregory A. Libby, DDS
Dr. Libby was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. He went to Iowa State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in biology in 1993. He then went to the University of Iowa where he received his D.D.S. in 1998. Before and during dental school, Dr. Libby was privileged to work in the UI Hospital Dental Clinic as part of the dental lab team. This clinic was mainly run by two prosthodontists who truly inspired him to continue his education working towards being able to provide the highest quality of care. Dr. Libby went on to complete a Prosthodontic residency at the University of Connecticut. After three years of intensive training, he moved to Phoenix, Az., in the summer of 2001.
Dr. Libby is married to Dr. Lidieth Libby who is a practicing pediatric dentist in the office next door. They have 3 children, two boys and a girl, who keep their parents on their toes! The Libbys also work with an organization that provides medical and dental care and community outreach to poor people in Mexico. They make one or two trips a year leading groups of doctors and volunteers on short term mission trips. They are currently working on building a dental clinic to provide year-round care to the Mayan people in the Yucatan peninsula.
Nishi Vakharia, DDS
Dr. Vakharia is a native of Illinois, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Physiology with a minor in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University. He began his career as a radiochemist for the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety before pursuing dentistry at the University of Illinois Chicago, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After practicing outside of Chicago, he relocated to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he owned and operated a private practice for over 22 years before moving to Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Vakharia is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care with a conservative, minimally invasive approach that supports optimal oral health and natural aesthetics. He has completed advanced training at The Dawson Academy and continues his education through Spear Education at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, allowing him to take a comprehensive approach to treatment planning that considers both the teeth and overall facial harmony. Outside of the office, Dr. Vakharia enjoys traveling, skiing, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his family.
